Fear Worry – Courage Love:

Jer 23: 3. “I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number.
4. I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord.

John 14: 23. Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
24. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25. “All this I have spoken while still with you.
26. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
27. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
28. “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
29. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
30. I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me,
31. but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.“Come now; let us leave.

Fear begins with Adam:

Genesis 3: 4. “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.
 5. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
7. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10. He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

Holy Fear:

Heb 11: 7. By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Spirit of fear – Fear is a spirit:

2 Tim 1: 6. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Rom 8: 14. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
15. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
16. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
17. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Deliverence from spirit of fear:

Ps 34: 3. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
4. I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
5. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
6. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
7. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Love is the opposite of fear :

1 John 4: 11. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
13. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
14. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
15. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
16. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
17. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.
18. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love
19. We love because he first loved us.
20. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
21. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

Rom 8: 35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36. As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39. neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

David’s revelation on fear:

Ps 27:1. The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
2. When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.
3. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

Ps 118:5. When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place.
6. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
7. The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies.
8. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans.
9. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

Ps 56:2. My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride many are attacking me.
3. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
4. In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
5. All day long they twist my words; all their schemes are for my ruin.
6. They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, hoping to take my life

Psalm 27:1. “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

Ps 23:4. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

1 Pet 5:5. In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
6. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
7. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9. Resist him, standing firm in the faith,

Covenant of restoration:

Is 41:8. “But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend,
9. I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
11. “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.
12. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.
13. For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
14. Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15. “See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.
16. You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the LORD and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Is 54:1. “Sing, barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the LORD.
2. “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
3. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
4. “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
5. For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
6. The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your God.
7. “For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
8. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer.

Is 43:1. But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Is 35:3. Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
4. say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
5. Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
7. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
8. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.
9. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
10. and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Paul  – to the churches:

1 corint 16: 13. Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
14. Do everything in love.
15. You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. I urge you, brothers and sisters,
16. to submit to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it.
17. I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.
18. For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.

Heb 13:5. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
6. So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
7. Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

1 Pet 3:10. For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.
11. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.
12. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
13. Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
14. But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats ; do not be frightened.”
15. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.

Jesus teaches on Fear:

Mark 4: 35.That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”
36.Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him.
37.A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.
38.Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39.He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40.He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?
41.They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

Matt 14: 22.Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.
23.After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone,
24.and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25.Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
26.When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27.But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28.“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29.“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
30.But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31.Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
32.And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
33.Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
34.When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.
35.And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him
36.and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

Luke 8: 22.One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out.
23.As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.
24.The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.
25.“Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

Elijah’s fears:

2 king 1:6. “A man came to meet us,” they replied. “And he said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, “This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!” ’ ”
7. The king asked them, “What kind of man was it who came to meet you and told you this?”
8. They replied, “He had a garment of hair and had a leather belt around his waist.” The king said, “That was Elijah the Tishbite.”
9. Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him, “Man of God, the king says, ‘Come down!’ ”
10. Elijah answered the captain, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men.
11. At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him, “Man of God, this is what the king says, ‘Come down at once!’ ”
12. “If I am a man of God,” Elijah replied, “may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then the fire of God fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.
13. So the king sent a third captain with his fifty men. This third captain went up and fell on his knees before Elijah. “Man of God,” he begged, “please have respect for my life and the lives of these fifty men, your servants!
14. See, fire has fallen from heaven and consumed the first two captains and all their men. But now have respect for my life!”
15. The angel of the Lord said to Elijah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.
16. He told the king, “This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”
17. So he died, according to the word of the Lord that Elijah had spoken.

Elisha teaches his servent:

2 Kings 6: 8. Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, “I will set up my camp in such and such a place.”
9. The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: “Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.”
10. So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places.
11. This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them, “Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?”
12. “None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers, “but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”
13. “Go, find out where he is,” the king ordered, “so I can send men and capture him.” The report came back: “He is in Dothan.” 14Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city.
15. When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.
16. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17. And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
18. As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.
19. Elisha told them, “This is not the road and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to Samaria.
20. After they entered the city, Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.” Then the Lord opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria.
21. When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha, “Shall I kill them, my father? Shall I kill them?”
22. “Do not kill them,” he answered. “Would you kill those you have captured with your own sword or bow? Set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master.”
23.So he prepared a great feast for them, and after they had finished eating and drinking, he sent them away, and they returned to their master. So the bands from Aram stopped raiding Israel’s territory.

The Lord’s Covenant With Abram:

Gen 15:1. After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. ”
2. But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit  my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?”
3. And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”
4. Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.”
5. He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
6. Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Covenant with Isaac:

Gen 26:16. Then Abimelek said to Isaac, “Move away from us; you have become too powerful for us.”
17. So Isaac moved away from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar, where he settled.
18. Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them.
19. Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there.
20. But the herders of Gerar quarreled with those of Isaac and said, “The water is ours!” So he named the well Esek, because they disputed with him.
21. Then they dug another well, but they quarreled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah.
22. He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.”
23. From there he went up to Beersheba.
24. That night the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”
25. Isaac built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord. There he pitched his tent, and there his servants dug a well.

God’s Covenant with Hagar:

Gen 21:8. The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast.
9. But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking,
10. and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”
11. The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son.
12. But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.
13. I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring.”
14. Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.
15. When the water in the skin was gone, she put the boy under one of the bushes.
16. Then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” And as she sat there, she began to sob.
17. God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there.
18. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”
19. Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.
20. God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer.
21. While he was living in the Desert of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from Egypt.

God’s Covenant with Jacob:

Gen 46:1. So Israel set out with all that was his, and when he reached Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
2. And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, “Jacob! Jacob!” “Here I am,” he replied.
3. “I am God, the God of your father,” he said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.
4. I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph’s own hand will close your eyes.”
5. Then Jacob left Beersheba, and Israel’s sons took their father Jacob and their children and their wives in the carts that Pharaoh had sent to transport him.
6. So Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt, taking with them their livestock and the possessions they had acquired in Canaan.
7. Jacob brought with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.

Moses’s Formula for deliverance:

Exodus 14:10. As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.
11. They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
12. Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”
13. Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
14. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
15. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.
16. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.
17. I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen.
18. The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.”

Ezekiel’s Call to Be a Prophet:

Ezek 2:1. He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”
2. As he spoke, the Spirit came into me and raised me to my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.
3. He said: “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their ancestors have been in revolt against me to this very day.
4. The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’
5. And whether they listen or fail to listen—for they are a rebellious people—they will know that a prophet has been among them.
6. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.
7. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious

8. But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

The Call of Jeremiah:

Jer 1:4. The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
5.“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
6. “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”
7. But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

Solomon  instructed by David:

1 Chron 28:11. Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, its storerooms, its upper parts, its inner rooms and the place of atonement.
12. He gave him the plans of all that the Spirit had put in his mind for the courts of the temple of the Lord and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things.
13. He gave him instructions for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work of serving in the temple of the Lord, as well as for all the articles to be used in its service.
14. He designated the weight of gold for all the gold articles to be used in various kinds of service, and the weight of silver for all the silver articles to be used in various kinds of service:
15. the weight of gold for the gold lampstands and their lamps, with the weight for each lampstand and its lamps; and the weight of silver for each silver lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand;
16. the weight of gold for each table for consecrated bread; the weight of silver for the silver tables;
17. the weight of pure gold for the forks, sprinkling bowls and pitchers; the weight of gold for each gold dish; the weight of silver for each silver dish;
18. and the weight of the refined gold for the altar of incense. He also gave him the plan for the chariot, that is, the cherubim of gold that spread their wings and overshadow the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
19. “All this,” David said, “I have in writing as a result of the Lord’s hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details of the plan.”
20. David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.
21. The divisions of the priests and Levites are ready for all the work on the temple of God, and every willing person skilled in any craft will help you in all the work. The officials and all the people will obey your every command.”

War direction to Jehosapath:

2 chron 20:10. “But now here are men from Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, whose territory you would not allow Israel to invade when they came from Egypt; so they turned away from them and did not destroy them.
11. See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance.
12. Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
13. All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord.
14. Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly.
15. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
16. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel.
17. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ ”

Nehamiah on the wall:

Neh 4:7. But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the people of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem’s walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry.
8. They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it.
9. But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.
10. Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.”
11. Also our enemies said, “Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.”
12. Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”
13. Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows.
14. After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
15. When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to our own work.

Instruction during Exodus:

Deut 1:26. But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God.
27. You grumbled in your tents and said, “The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us.
28. Where can we go? Our brothers have made our hearts melt in fear. They say, ‘The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.’ ”
29. Then I said to you, “Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them.
30. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes,
31. and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.”
32. In spite of this, you did not trust in the Lord your God, 33who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go.

Instruction to Joshua as he Succeed Moses:

Deut 31:1. Then Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel:
2. “I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you. The LORD has said to me, ‘You shall not cross the Jordan.’
3. The LORD your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the LORD said.
4. And the LORD will do to them what he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, whom he destroyed along with their land.
5. The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you.
6. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
7. Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.
8. The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Joshua 1:1. After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide:
2. “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites.
3. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. 4. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
5. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
6. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
7. “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.
8. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Birth of Jesus announced:

Luke 2:8. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
9. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
10. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
11. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
12. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Joseph instructed about Jesus:

Matt 1:18. This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about : His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.
19. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
21. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
22. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
23. “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Zachariah adviced:

Luke 1:8. Once when Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God,
9. he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense.
10. And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside.
11. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.
12. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear.
13. But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John.
14. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth,
15. for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.
16. He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God.
17. And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Paul told during his ministry:

Acts 18:7. Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God.
8. Crispus, the synagogue leader, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized.
9. One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.
10. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”
11. So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.
