Understanding our Enemy:

Authority of a child of God over Demonic Spirits:

Eph 6:10.  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

2 corint 10: 3. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
4. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

1 Pet 5: 8. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

7.Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Rom 8: 37. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39. neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Redemption from the Kingdom of Devil:

Col 1: 9.For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,
10. so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
11. being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,
12. and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
13. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
14. in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15. The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
17. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
19. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20. and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
21. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.
22. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation
23. if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

Devil – the thief:

John 10: 7.Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
8. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.
9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
10. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Warnings From Israel’s History : idolatry:

Psalm 106:

1. Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
2 .Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise?
3. Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right.
4. Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them,
that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise.
6. We have sinned, even as our ancestors did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
7. When our ancestors were in Egypt, they gave no thought to your miracles; they did not remember your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea.
8. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, to make his mighty power known.
9. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert.
10. He saved them from the hand of the foe; from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.
11. The waters covered their adversaries; not one of them survived.
12. Then they believed his promises and sang his praise.
13. But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his plan to unfold.
14. In the desert they gave in to their craving; in the wilderness they put God to the test.
15. So he gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease among them.
16. In the camp they grew envious of Moses and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the Lord.
17. The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it buried the company of Abiram.
18. Fire blazed among their followers; a flame consumed the wicked.
19. At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped an idol cast from metal.
20. They exchanged their glorious God for an image of a bull, which eats grass.
21. They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,
22. miracles in the land of Ham and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
23. So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them.
24. Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise.
25. They grumbled in their tents and did not obey the Lord.
26. So he swore to them with uplifted hand that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
27. make their descendants fall among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
28. They yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods;
29. they aroused the Lord’s anger by their wicked deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
30. But Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was checked.
31. This was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.
32. By the waters of Meribah they angered the Lord, and trouble came to Moses because of them;
33 for they rebelled against the Spirit of God, and rash words came from Moses’ lips.
34. They did not destroy the peoples as the Lord had commanded them,
35. but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.
36. They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.
37. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods.
38. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.
39 They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves.
40. Therefore the Lord was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance.
41. He gave them into the hands of the nations, and their foes ruled over them.
42 Their enemies oppressed them and subjected them to their power.
43. Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.
44. Yet he took note of their distress when he heard their cry;
45 for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.
46. He caused all who held them captive to show them mercy.
47. Save us, Lord our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
48. Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord.

Deut 32: 15. Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; filled with food, they became heavy and sleek. They abandoned the God who made them and rejected the Rock their Savior.
16. They made him jealous with their foreign gods and angered him with their detestable idols.
17. They sacrificed to false gods, which are not God— gods they had not known, gods that recently appeared, gods your ancestors did not fear.
18. You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.
19. The Lord saw this and rejected them because he was angered by his sons and daughters.
20. “I will hide my face from them,” he said, “and see what their end will be; for they are a perverse generation, children who are unfaithful.
21. They made me jealous by what is no god and angered me with their worthless idols.

1 Corinth 10: 1.For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
2. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
3. They all ate the same spiritual food
4. and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
5. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
6. Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
7. Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”
8. We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
9. We should not test Christ, as some of them did—and were killed by snakes.
10. And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel.
11. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.
12. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!
13. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Idol Feasts and the Lord’s Supper:

1 Cor 10:14. Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.
15. I speak to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say.
16. Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?
17. Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf.
18. Consider the people of Israel: Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?
19. Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything?
20. No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.
21. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.
22. Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Faith and Deeds – Even Demons Believe in Jesus:

James 2 14. What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
15. Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.
16. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
17. In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
19. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
20. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
21. Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
22. You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
23. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.
24. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
25. In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?
26. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Deliverance and Freedom:

Matt 12: 43.“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
44. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.
45. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

Luke 8:2 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out.

Matt 10: 1.And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.

A Boy Is Healed:

Mark 9: 14.And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them.
15. Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him.
16. And He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”
17. Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit.
18. And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”
19. He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.”
20. Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.
21. So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.
22. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
23. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
24. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
25. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”
26. Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.”
27. But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.
28. And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”
29. So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”

Mark 3: 11.Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”
12. But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.

Matt 12: Jesus and Beelzebul:

22. Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.
23. All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”
24. But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”
25. Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.
26. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?
27.And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.
28. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
29. “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.
30. “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
31. And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
33. “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.
34. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
35. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
36. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
37. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Matt 8: 28. When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29. “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30. Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31. The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32. He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.
33. Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.
34. Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

Acts 19: 8. Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.
9. But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.
10. This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.
11. God did extraordinary miracles through Paul,
12. so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
13. Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.”
14. Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.
15. One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”
16. Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
17. When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.
18. Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done.
19. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.
20. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.

Luke 10: 1. After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.
2. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
3. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
4. Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.
5. “When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’
6. If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you.
7. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
8. “When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you.
9. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
10. But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say,
11. ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’
12. I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
13. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14. But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
15. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades.
16. “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
17. The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
18. He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
19. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
20. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
21. At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
22. “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
23. Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”

Jesus Restores Two Demon-Possessed Men:

Matthew 8: 28.When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him.

Jesus Heals a Demon-Possessed Boy:

Luke 9: 37 The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.
38. A man in the crowd called out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.
39. A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.
40. I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not.”
41. “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here.”
42. Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father.

Mark 9: 38. “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”
39. “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me,
40. for whoever is not against us is for us.
41. Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.

Mark 6:6 Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.
7. Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
8. These were his instructions: “Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.
9. Wear sandals but not an extra shirt.
10. Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town.
11. And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
12. They went out and preached that people should repent.
13. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

Pharisees irritated Because Jesus spoke with authority:

Mark 1: 21.They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
22. The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
23. Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out,
24. “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
25. “Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!”
26. The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
27. The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.”
28. News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.

Future predicting Spirit:

Acts 16: 16.Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.
17. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”
18. She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.
19. When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.
20. They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar
21. by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.”

Devil claiming mosses Body:

Jude 1:

5. Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.
6. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.
8. In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.
9. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
10. Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.

Deceiving spirits:

1 Timothy 4: 1. The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
2. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
3. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
4. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
5. because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
6. If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.
7. Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.
8. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
9. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance.
10. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

Sacrifices to demons- Idols:

Leviticus 17: 1.The Lord said to Moses,
2. “Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: ‘This is what the Lord has commanded:
3. Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it
4. instead of bringing it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the Lord in front of the tabernacle of the Lord—that person shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; they have shed blood and must be cut off from their people.
5. This is so the Israelites will bring to the Lord the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the Lord, at the entrance to the tent of meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings.
6. The priest is to splash the blood against the altar of the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
7. They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.’
8. “Say to them: ‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice
9. and does not bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to sacrifice it to the Lord must be cut off from the people of Israel.
10. “‘I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood, and I will cut them off from the people.
11. For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.
12. Therefore I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner residing among you eat blood.”

Judgement for Demons and Followers

2Pet 2: 4.For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;
5. if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6. if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
7. and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked
8. (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard);
9. then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.

Revelation 12  The Woman and the Dragon

1. A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
2. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.
3. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.
4. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.
5. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.
6. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
7. Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
8. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
9. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
10. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”

The Sheep and the Goats:

Matt 25: 31.“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
32.
All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37. “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38. When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39. When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41. “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44. “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45. “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46. “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Lev 20: 27.“‘A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.’”

Paul and the Preachers of Demons:

2 Corinthians 11: 1. I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness. Yes, please put up with me!
2. I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.
3. But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
4. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
5. I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.”
6. I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way.
7. Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge?
8. I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you.
9. And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.
10. As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achaia will stop this boasting of mine.
11. Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!
12. And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about.
13. For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.
14. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
15. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

History of Satan:

Is 14: 3.On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you,
4. you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon (The spiritual ruler -Satan): How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended!
5. The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,
6. which in anger struck down peoples with unceasing blows, and in fury subdued nations with relentless aggression.
7. All the lands are at rest and at peace; they break into singing.
8. Even the junipers and the cedars of Lebanon gloat over you and say,
“Now that you have been laid low, no one comes to cut us down.”
9. The realm of the dead below is all astir to meet you at your coming; it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you— all those who were leaders in the world; it makes them rise from their thrones— all those who were kings over the nations.
10. They will all respond, they will say to you, “You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.”
11. All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you.
12. How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
13. You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.
14. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”
15 But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.
16. Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: “Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble,
17. the man who made the world a wilderness, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?”

Sin that leads to death:

1John 5: 13.I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
14. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
15. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
16. If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.
17. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
18. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.
19. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
20. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21. Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
